My name is Jimmy Fox, I grew up in a small town north of Ft. Worth Texas. I started growing my current beard on December 21 of 2013 after years of small beards and goatees.
I started growing this beard out because I got tired of looking like everybody else. I started competing in beard competitions shortly after and have met some of the best people in the world through simply having facial hair, I love competing because it’s fun, entertains people and raises a lot of money for local charities where the competitions are held.
I normal compete in the full beard natural and freestyle categories because it gets a lot of attention, I love seeing the expression on people’s faces when they see My freestyle beards on the way to a comp. It feels good when people complement me on my beard, I take pride in it and take very good care of it.
I line the color of my beard, as I’ve gotten older I’ve gone from ginger to iron oxide. Other than that I’m just a normal working guy that likes good craft beer and riding my Harley.
