We caught up with a boxing enthusiast and Bearded Villain Mikey Nehme , Check out his interview here and learn about his passions, routines and love in life.

Can you try to give our readers a bit of a background on yourself, a quick spill about things you are into?

I love Jesus. That would really some up the man I am and aspire to be like. I love my wife, we’re blessed with baby girl Ella due September 1, 2015, it’ll be our first. I love to fight, exercise, read my Bible and spend whatever time I have with my wife and family.

We have seen on Instagram that you have lots of tattoos, do they all have meaning behind the? Do you have a favourite?

Ha, yes and planning on getting some more. All my tattoos have meaning, from the crosses on my arm, to the boxing gloves shaped like a heart on my other arm and so on. I try to keep it classy and meaningful. It’s ok to be spontaneous and get some that’ll be funny few years down the line (I have some already lol).

Any other interests? We see you are into your fitness and health.

Boxing has been part of my life since I was a kid, competed and always enjoyed the sweet science and trained at Flash Boxing Gym in Van Nuys, Ca. I was also a nationally ranked powerlifter few years ago.

Can you try to take us through your daily routine when it comes to beard care? Do you use products like oils and waxes?

My family owns a company that has to do with construction so I shampoo my beard every night due to dust, dirt and debris, dry it up and put in BeardBrand beard oil before bed. In the mornings I use MaestrosClassic beard butter and The Bearded Bastard moustache wax so I can somewhat eat my food and not my hair.

Do you have any specific brands that you prefer?

MaestrosClassic and BeardBrand are my favourite. Maestros is really my go to Beard care product and recommend to everyone.

Do you trim and maintain your facial hair on your own, or do you only let your barber handle it?

NO WAY! That’s where my master barber comes in.

Who is your ‘go to’ guy for trimming and maintenance?

Mir the master barber in Sherman Oaks, Ca. The best in the business and I trust him very much with my beard.

Do you feel as though your beard has helped launched you into modelling?

Honestly I haven’t done any “professional” modelling so to speak. Did 1 shoot for BeardedVillains and had a great time. I really just enjoy my beard for myself, and my wife now digs it.

Can you tell us more about the bearded villains and you got involved with this?

My friend Andre (andre_zonn) and I found them on Instagram one day, was messaged if I’d like a feature and that’s how it all started. Met so many great people and it’s a really good crowd to be part of.

How would you describe your style?

14 hours a day on job sites. Which means boots, jeans and a t-shirt? During the weekend I enjoy getting casual and taking the wife out for dinner. Just a regular guy. So regular I actually wear *coughs* crocs around.

Lastly, who is your favourite boxer of all time?

My favourite boxer of all time is Jersey Joe Walcott. Love his style and did my best to mimic everything he did in the ring. I go old school.
