When it comes to pancake day, there are people who go for the classic pancake with lemon and sugar but we want to beef that up with the aid of some protein! This simple protein pancake recipe will provide the ultimate fuel for breakfast or after a work out – and the best part? They taste freakin’ awesome and won’t get your beard messy!
Our recipe couldn’t be simpler:
Take 4 eggs + 1 scoop of Impact Whey (our pals over at MyProtein offer a great range from Maple Syrup to Peanut Butter flavour) whizz them all together in a bowl and then pour manly portions into to a heated pan. We recommend a non-stick ceramic pan for this but feel free to add some cooking oil if you are still in the winter bulking phase. Cook through on one side, then flip it like your life depends on it to brown off the other side.
Top with with something exotic like Greek yoghurt, nut butter, blueberries or strawberries! Or be like us and use smoked bacon with banana!
