Narwal Mixologist – Beard Butter Review

We recently received some organic beard balm butter from our friends at Natural Mixologist, we wanted to review this product for them and share our thoughts.

The product they sent us was there Organic Beard Balm Butter, a masterfully crafted balm with nut butters (Shea and Mango) and other hair enhancing essential oils. As with most with beard butters they claim that it will help soften, condition, repair, dry splitting hairs, and nourish new growth.

The balm comes in 4 oz tin with a simple sticker on the front, this includes a logo and product ingredients. When you open the tin for the first time, the smell of almond and lemon immediately refreshes your senses. The tin is full with beard balm, they aren’t frugal in their quantity.

Focusing on the balm – the texture is firm but malleable, after warming and rubbing a small amount in the palm of your hand, you start to feel the softness as it gently starts to absorb your body heat. As soon as you start applying the product to your beard, you can feel it obtain a lighter, almost velvety texture. It is extremely hydrating for both the beard and the skin, there are no flakes and we found that it also helped prevent any itching.

After using this product daily for several weeks, we definitely felt that it helped condition the beard as well affirm its claims of making it softer and healthier. The size of the tin and the amount of beard balm it includes allows one tin to last several months when applied daily. It is well worth a purchase and for only £15, this product is officially approved by TheBeardMag.
