We recently received some chocolate orange beard oil from our friends at Beard Inc, we wanted to review this product for them and share our beardy thoughts.
The product they sent us was their chocolate orange scented premium beard oil, one of the strongest smelling beard oils we have ever used and definitely one to use over Easter. It is 100% organic and made from pure natural oils and as it with most with beard oils they claim that it moisturises the skin underneath the beard but most importantly keeps the beard healthy and stronger from root to tip preventing split ends and breakages.
The oil comes in small 10ml bottle with no pippet, a handwritten flavour label adds a personal touch which we appreciated. The bottle is a perfect size for your pocket, it can be used on a night out for a touch up or throughout the day if you need that chocolate smell fix. We are used to having a pippet with beard oils and did find that having to pour the oil out left residue on the bottle. We were excited to smell this product and this did not disappoint, when you open the bottle for the first time you are immediately transported into an aroused Easter related state. The chocolate and the orange is a perfect blend, we feel that they have found the correct balance here.
Focusing on the oil – the texture is silky and velvet like, It seemed to be a bit thinner than other oils, this made it easier to apply and reach the skin. When we were rubbing through the beard, we definitely felt the lightness of the oil, it was quicker to cover the beard compared to other oils. Our beards did feel smoother and more hydrated, the oil lived up to its claim of reducing split ends and breakages.
After using this product daily , we definitely had compliments about its scent and our beards were looking shinier and healthier. The size of the bottle and the amount of beard oil it includes only allows this product to last one or two weeks (depending on how many times you apply throughout the day). We would like to see a larger bottle available in the future.
